Turin – A City Where Boredom Doesn’t Exist!

Our cultural exchange participant in Italy, Jovana, spent three months in Turin. Read more about her experience below.

Taking part in the cultural exchange program brought me so many new and wonderful experiences. The family I stayed with was truly amazing—warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind. They went above and beyond to make my stay not just comfortable, but genuinely enjoyable.

Turin is a fantastic city where there’s never a dull moment. I spent most of my time exploring the city and going on trips. Beyond the stunning Italian architecture—considered some of the most beautiful in the world—I had the chance to meet lots of new people and discover just how generous and fun Italians are.

My time in Italy left such an impression on me that I returned to Serbia feeling inspired to continue my studies there. Italian culture stands out with its unique cuisine, amazing music, and a kind of energy that’s not just in the people, but in the very streets you walk through every day.

I’m truly happy I made the decision to join this program—it turned into an incredibly valuable life experience. My honest advice to anyone considering it: take the leap. Join the program and create memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.
