The family I’m staying with is absolutely amazing. We get along so well, and they’ve truly welcomed me as one of their own—I honestly feel like part of the family. Mallorca itself is magical, especially because I’ve had the chance to visit lots of non-touristy spots, meet locals, and really dive into the language (specifically the Mallorcan dialect, which is what most people speak here).In smaller towns, hardly anyone speaks English, so this has been the perfect opportunity to improve my Spanish. Overall, my impressions are just beautiful. The family is fantastic, and I really love it here. The town is small but lovely and peaceful, with easy access to lots of interesting events nearby.In my free time, I love heading to the beach, going for walks, riding my bike, and just soaking up the natural beauty. But what I’ll remember the most are the friendships I’ve made here—they’ve been the heart of this experience.

Make the most of your free time during the exchange—travel, explore, and plan some trips to nearby cities if you can. But above all, pay close attention when choosing your host family—if the family is the right fit, everything else will fall into place.
