Marija, one of our amazing cultural exchange participants, writes to us from the stunning Palma de Mallorca. She’s been soaking in the island’s beauty for the past few weeks, and here’s what she had to say about her adventure so far.
My first impressions have been nothing but positive — the program is fantastic, the host family is incredibly kind, and the city is absolutely beautiful. Thanks to the Center for Affirmation and Development, I’ve had the chance to live out this incredible experience in Spain, where I still am at the moment. I especially want to highlight how lovely and welcoming my host family has been — they’ve truly made this journey even more meaningful. Every day I feel lucky to be surrounded by such a beautiful setting and such kind people. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone who wants to explore new horizons and cultures, all with the support of a team you can count on.
In my free time, you’ll usually find me at the beach, with a book in hand, or spending time with the wonderful friends I’ve met here. What I’ve loved the most is meeting new people, diving into a new culture, and getting the chance to learn and grow in such an inspiring environment.
