Our cultural exchange participant in Spain, Amina, writes to us from the heart of Valencia, Spain’s third largest city by population, where she has been living for two months. Here’s what she shared about her experience:
Valencia is a beautiful city—I’ve been here for two months now, and with each passing day, I fall more in love with it. The host family I live with is very respectful and kind. We get along well and have a solid, mutual understanding.
During the week, I mostly spend time with the family. On weekends, I head out to explore different parts of the city. The family gave me a bike, so I enjoy riding around and taking walks to soak it all in.
Overall, I’m really happy with the exchange. It’s a fantastic program, and I’d recommend it to everyone.
