Armin, one of our cultural exchange participants, wrote to us from the beautiful region of La Rioja. He spent a month enjoying everything the town of Alfaro has to offer—and here’s what he had to say about his exciting experience:

So far, the program has been incredibly useful and interesting, with clearly defined goals and plenty of hands-on learning. Meeting the host family was a pleasant experience—everyone made a real effort to make us feel welcome. The town itself is lively and full of things to do, which makes it perfect for exploring and soaking up the local vibe.

During my free time, I make it a point to work out every day to stay in shape. I also go horseback riding once a week, which is a great way for me to relax. Every day I get to explore the area and unwind by the pool under the palm trees. Spain is truly the perfect place to recharge and enjoy a calm, peaceful setting.

What I’ve appreciated the most is how this program offers a real chance for both personal and professional development. I’ve especially valued the quality resources and support we’ve received, along with the opportunity to work with different people and broaden my perspective. I was also really impressed with how well-rounded the whole program is—it strikes a great balance between professional goals and personal growth.

When it comes to working with our team, Armin shared:

And his advice for future candidates:

Approach the experience with energy and a genuine desire to get the most out of it.
