Đurđa’s impressions from Palermo are nothing short of glowing—and she even sent us a few photos capturing the vibrant atmosphere of Sicilian beaches and city streets. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Palermo,” she says, “because it’s a city full of culture, landmarks, and pure enjoyment—especially for young people. When we asked what she loves most, her answer was simple: From the food to the culture—everything is just perfect. You’ll fall in love with every part of Sicily.
Đurđa loves exploring and discovering new places and tries to do it as often as she can. Since the best way to improve a foreign language is to speak it, she spends as much time as possible with the friends she’s made during the program and is always meeting new people. That’s how I improve my Italian, she says.
The atmosphere in Sicily is absolutely beautiful. She enjoys trying new dishes and visiting other towns across the island. The most beautiful beaches and the most stunning sights are right here, in the south of Italy, she tells us.
When asked if she would recommend this program to others based on her experience, she didn’t hesitate:
