Saludos desde Madrid

Anđela is writing to us from Madrid, the city she calls the most beautiful in all of Europe. Why did she choose Spain for her exchange experience? Keep reading to find out.

First of all, a warm hello from Spain – more precisely from the capital, Madrid – where I’ve been lucky enough to spend nearly six months with a wonderful family! Now that this adventure is coming to an end, I can say with confidence that it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This experience brought its fair share of challenges, but even more unforgettable moments and memories I’ll carry with me forever.

Anđela adapted quickly to her new environment, which made settling into family life smooth and pleasant.

I had no real issues; everything was solved through communication and mutual understanding. My host family helped me improve my Spanish, and I learned so much about their culture. In my free time, I explored the magic of Madrid, indulged in tapas and all kinds of Spanish dishes, met people from Spain and from all over the world, and shared experiences with them. I also visited a few other cities, and I can say for sure that Spain is one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever been to, rich in history and natural beauty. Fun and great vibes are guaranteed!
